Why companies should listen to their customers

A business isn't a business without its customers. You think you have a great product, your customers may also but there may be things that customers see that you don't!

Starting from scratch, you may envision what your end goal is, but you really can't see it clearly. Various prototypes are made and with each one you find things to change to make them better.
The best way to get out of the box ideas is to share it with people around you. Show your product and see what questions arise. A good company will take those questions and find an answer. Take the constructive criticism and feedback and make changes as necessary.
Once the product goes live, there will be more suggestions and feedback by actual customers. "How do you find the center of the straps?" "The grips are too long." We take all communications from our customers to heart. If they are experiencing a problem, we are too. We'll analyze the issue and find a solution.
“Set realistic customer expectations, don't just meet them, but exceed them”
A great example is our extra-long multifunctional grips. We designed them to be used as standard grips, piston style grips, and as a harness. In order to use as a harness, we needed to make them longer so that when combined on one carabiner it would be wide enough to fit most people. The only problem is, if a customer doesn't have the space to perform the exercises on their #suspensiontrainer because you need extra room for rotational exercises and the straps have too much length, they won't be able to use the product.
We Listened
We discussed various design and how we could use the inventory we had already purchased and came up with an idea that could work. A prototype was made and sent to the trainer we were working with and voila, it solved the problem, and we were able to use our existing grips!
A Better Product
A business can't succeed without listening to their customers. Because we listened, we now have a better product that meets the needs of the few customers that mentioned their wish, to have shorter grips, which in turn will meet the needs of future customers. It's how we would want to be heard/treated if we were the customers!
